Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Enfermal, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What Enfermal Provides

Enfermal is an AI-powered task automation service. You configure agents ("Enfermos") that complete tasks on websites you specify. Enfermal uses AI providers (Anthropic, DeepSeek) to process page content and generate results. Results may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies — you are responsible for reviewing all output before acting on it.

3. Your Responsibilities

  • Authorization: You must have the right and authorization to automate actions on every website you configure. Automating websites you do not own or have permission to access may violate their terms of service or applicable law.
  • Credentials: You are responsible for the credentials you provide. Only use credentials for accounts you own or are authorized to use.
  • Output review: You must review Enfermo output before submitting, publishing, or acting on it. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your use case.
  • Compliance: You are responsible for ensuring your use of Enfermal complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and third-party terms of service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Enfermal to:

  • Violate any law or regulation
  • Access accounts, systems, or data without authorization
  • Commit academic fraud, plagiarism, or misrepresent AI-generated work as your own where prohibited
  • Send spam, phishing messages, or unsolicited communications
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect personal data from websites without proper authorization and legal basis
  • Circumvent security measures, CAPTCHAs, or access controls on third-party websites
  • Generate content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the service without written permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Third-Party Websites

Enfermal automates actions on third-party websites that you select. These websites have their own terms of service, and automated access may violate those terms. Enfermal does not guarantee compatibility with any third-party website, and we are not responsible for any consequences of automating actions on external sites — including account suspension, data loss, or access restrictions imposed by those sites.

If a website blocks automation, displays a CAPTCHA, or otherwise prevents task completion, the Enfermo will fall back to providing a text draft for your manual review.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

Auto-renewal

Subscription plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly, 6 months, or 12 months — whichever you chose at checkout). Your card on file is charged on the renewal date. You will not receive a separate notice before each renewal.

Cancellation

You can cancel anytime from Settings → Manage Subscription or by emailing support@enfermal.com. Cancellation stops future charges. You retain access through the end of your current billing period; the plan reverts to Free at that boundary.

Plan changes — upgrades

Upgrading to a higher tier takes effect immediately. Stripe charges the prorated price difference for the remainder of the current period, and Enfermal grants the prorated credit difference to your balance at the same time. Your renewal date does not change.

Plan changes — downgrades

Downgrading to a lower tier is scheduled to take effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep your higher-tier credits and features through the period you already paid for; the new lower tier (and its credit allotment) begins on the next renewal.

Credits

Credits are granted monthly per your plan and added to your account balance — unused credits roll forward, so you do not need to spend them before your next grant. Credits are deducted live as agent work runs (your balance updates during the run, not only when it finishes). An active paid subscription is required to spend credits, including credits purchased separately as credit packs. If your subscription ends, your credit balance is preserved but cannot be used until you re-subscribe. Credits have no cash value and are not refundable, individually or as part of a larger purchase.

Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, Stripe will retry per its default dunning schedule. Your account is flagged as past due during this window — credit grants pause until payment succeeds. If all retries fail, Stripe cancels the subscription and you revert to Free.

7. AI-Generated Content

Enfermal uses AI to generate task outputs. Outputs may contain errors, omissions, or factual inaccuracies. Users are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before submission, particularly for academic work. Enfermal makes no guarantees about output accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any specific purpose.

Use of Enfermal for academic submissions is at the user's own risk; always check your school's academic integrity policy before submitting AI-assisted work.

Output generated by Enfermos may contain hallucinations or biased content. You assume full responsibility for how you use AI-generated output, including any consequences of submitting, publishing, or acting on it.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Enfermal and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, account suspension on third-party platforms, or damage arising from reliance on AI-generated content.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Enfermal in the 12 months preceding the claim.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Enfermal and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the service, (b) your violation of these terms, (c) your violation of any third-party rights or terms of service, or (d) content you generate or actions you automate using Enfermal.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of Enfermal shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation by contacting support@enfermal.com. If a dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, it shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
